We wish you a truly Happy and Holy New Year! This issue of the GIL Publications newsletter, The LoveLetter, is really packed with exciting news items for you.

This month (January 2008) we are celebrating our Fifth Anniversary in Christian Publishing – 2008 promises to be more exciting than years past as God continues to bless this ministry (see below):

Looking back on 2007, we were very busy developing the Publishing Ministry with victories and accomplishments in a number of areas:

  1. Four New Websites:

    • GILPublications.com has been entirely rebuilt to serve our patrons and supporters better with more attractive and faster loading pages. The new navigation system allows users to see our free information and to purchase books in a new streamlined fashion. (www.GILpublications.com)

    • BibleWordSearchPuzzles.com was added to focus on our popular Bible Word Search Book Series which features puzzles with scriptures. We are now at five volumes with more to come in 2008. We also provide a free smaller (12 words/hidden message) weekly Bible Word Search puzzle with scriptures. (www.BibleWordSearchPuzzles.com)

    • PublishChristianBooks.com is a new website that features our Christian Author Publishing Service. We can take your book from the manuscript stage to the finished product and put your books on Amazon.com.
      Our individualized service includes 50 printed books, cover design, complete book layout, ISBN, copyright, Library of Congress Catalog Number, barcode for cover, marketing consultation, personalized author web page and more. (www.PublishChristianBooks.com)

    • WomenInBible.com showcases our books on Women in the Bible and books by well-known Christian authors who specialize in women’s issues. (www.WomenInBible.com)

  2. Two New Paperback Books (also available as E-Books):

    • Bible Word Search, Volume III: Fathers in the Bible

For 2008 we are implementing the following:

  1. Four New Newsletters:

    • The LoveLetter will now be published once monthly (in the middle of the month) and feature the latest publishing news for GIL Publications and the other God Is Love Ministries divisions. (Send an e-mail to LoveLetter@GILpublications.com)

    • PublishChrist will begin publication in February 2008 and feature new advice, tools, websites and more for Christian Authors each month. (Send an e-mail to PublishChrist@GILpublications.com)

    • BibleWomen will commence publication in March 2008 in celebration of Women’s History Month. Each week we will present the scriptures on one woman from the Bible as well as updates on publications on Biblical women and for Christian women. (Send an e-mail to BibleWomen@GILpublications.com)

    • rFathers the newsletter/blog for the Reconciled Fathers Ministry will begin in the Spring of 2008 as a monthly publication then increase to be a weekly. (Send an e-mail to rfathers@GILpublications.com)

  2. New Website:

    • rFathers.org will be up and running in the spring with articles and books on and for Separated Fathers. (www.rFathers.org)

  3. New Paperback Books:

    • On The Outside Looking In: Hope for Separated Fathers Who Want to Be Good Fathers is currently available in e-book format. The paperback will be available in Spring 2008 with the launch of the rFathers.org website.

    • The all-new Seven Principles of Godly FatherHood: The Example of Joseph the Carpenter is planned for the Spring as well.

    • FIVE new volumes of the Bible Word Search series will appear during the year:

      • Volume IV: Prayers in the Bible (Late January)

      • Volume V: Victories in the Bible (Late January)

      • Volume VI: Parables in the Bible (May)

      • Volume VII: Promises in the Bible (July)

      • Volume VIII: Miracles and Healings in the Bible (September)

    • Three volumes of the 101 In the Bible series (currently available in e-book format) will be available in paperback this year:

      • 101 Women in the Bible (March)

      • 101 Prayers in the Bible (June)

      • 101 Victories in the Bible (August)

  4. Other Advances:

    • The Mail and Call Center is fully operational with order taking from phone, fax, e-mail and regular mail for individual, retail and wholesale clients. This year we will add an 800 number for your convenience. (individuals contact orders@GILpublications.com; Retailers and Wholesalers contact retail@GILpublications.com)

We are very excited with anticipation for the doors that God is opening in 2008. The God Is Love Ministries will continue to grow and develop in its ability to publish God’s Word in various forms. Many other exciting additions are planned for 2008. We will keep you informed as the year progresses.
